Yasi's Story
Life
My bio doesn't entail anything spectacular. The only exciting thing that happened in my life recently is my move to Arizona and getting married. Life in general has changed tremendously.
I look back to high school and everything was so simple back then. Now, the responsibilities have just stacked onto my shoulders. Moving from Maryland was the hardest thing I ever had to do. I found it necessary to leave because my days felt repetitive. Living in Arizona, has brought me back to life. I've got a great job, a beautiful house and wonderful friends.
School
School was school. It doesn't get any more boring than that. The trail began at Montgomery College and ended at George Mason University. I changed majors about a million times. I finally graduated with a B.A. in English Literature - 20th Century. I was adamant on going to law school, but right before I took my LSAT's I changed my mind. I realized that by becoming a lawyer I would have to sacrifice a lot of things in my life that I didn't want to give up. Now, I'm pursuing...Expand for more
a Master's Degree in English literature so I can become a college profesor. Go figure.
College
My college bio is in my school bio.
Workplace
I spent four years working for two of the most exclusive retail companies in the world, Louis Vuitton and Cartier. I have to say, Cartier was my favorite out of the two. The jewelry and watches were extraordinary. It was fun to walk around the store with a $400,000 yellow diamond sometimes. Anytime I felt blue, I would try one of those suckers on and it would always cheer me up. Unfortuntately, I didn't have the funds to purchase one of those rings, but then again, why would I?
With my move to Arizona, I resigned from Cartier and took a job with ADP as a District Manager. I'm a consultant for small businesses and I help them organize their human resource department. There is tons of flexibility in my schedule and my days are in my hands. I don't have a set schedule. My office is in my house. It can't get any better than that. Plus, the money is great.
