Yesenia's Story

Life Ok. I guess I should talk a bit more of what I've done since High School. I Should start by sadly admitting I didn't get to go to the school I wanted to Fisher College in Boston so I had to settle with going to UMCP. It was ok but not where I wanted to be I think it is because I have a sort of Gypsy nature and wanted to travel somewhere else. After a bad attempt (if you want to call it that) at the university I joined the Navy reserve. During boot camp I was stationed in Orlando, then I went to Southern Utah. I attended Dixie this is where I found a love for writing. I was part of the yearbook staff and one of its photojournalists. I participated in a lot of activities and found many friends. I took another year off to work in Maryland but while there I attended the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. I returned to Dixie where I graduated with ans A.S. in Mass Co...Expand for more
mm. There were a couple of other schools until I settled at Weber State. I got married had two kids then finally got my B.S in political Science. A year later after graduation had my third and last child. I've had many mini adventures and jobs in between. I went to the Bahamas and Snorkeled their beautiful waters, traveled cross country a couple of times went to San Francisco, L.A. and scuba dived around Catalina Island (amazing!), taught swimming and did other crazy things ;). Right now I'm working as a T.A. for the Special Ed. Dept at an Elementary school. It is a pretty cool job and I learn a lot from these kids. I also get to enjoy being a mom although it is by far the hardest of all experiences one reason our middle child has mild ASD. School There were so many i crushed over in college not so many in high school. The best college memories are from Dixie College and UVSC.
