Thank the good Lord there is a better life after Caldwell High school. I am thankful for the "drama freaks" though. It was one of the most delightful events of my entire high school stage. Drama changed the person I would have been. Thanks Lou Ida Marsh! Much love. I left Caldwell, went to MCC in Waco, Tx with alot of the "drama freaks" it was cool, moved to Austin, Tx went to ACC, had "crazy" jobs with psychologist, psychiatrists, worked at Dillards decided to join the Army in 1986. From boot camp Ft Dix, NJ to
AIT in Ft Dix, NJ. Got married in 86, got orders for Germany in 86, went to Mannheim Germany. 150th Transportation, Spinelli Barracks. There a whole new world was exposed. The words "American" was spat out of the mouths of "young" germans. Got divorced and pregnant in 87. Had a beautiful baby girl in 88. Golf War brewing.. Got married to baby's daddy in 89 had a baby boy in Nov 9,89 the day the Berlin Wall fell and got out of the military that same day. Becam...Expand for more
e full time stay-at-home mom. My reserve unit was called up.. I went- but stayed back cause I was carrying child #3 a beautiful baby girl. War was fought--War was over we had orders to move to Ft Lewis, WA in 1991. Became a
homeschooling full time mom, soldier's wife. Became licensed foster parents and had babies # 4,5,6,7,8. We moved to Lakeland, Fl in 2004 after husband became 100% disabled with 21 yrs in US Army. Still homeschooling momma and boy are we glad. I thought Caldwell High School was bad.. the public schools in Florida are scarey. Metal dectectors, the "drug" puppies, police stationed on campus...it's a war zone-even if drugs are not involved. Remember, how hard it was to fit in certain high school cliches? It's worse. So, my thanks go out to the teachers that are still hanging in there, because the kids are different,respect level low and pay I think is still less than the sanitation depts. Bravo, for public school teachers cause it ain't for the money honey!
