Yolanda's Story
While in high school I was in marching band and in drum line. I also played bass fiddle in stage band. I have always been involved in music and always enjoyed it. Today I am on the worship team in church. I dated an guy a few years older during high school and later married him having 4 children together. Our marriage ended in 1984 and we went our separate ways. I later married my husband today having 2 more girls. We raised all 6 together (I sometimes wonder how I kept my sanity LOL)! Life has had it's ups and downs but with God we have overcome much! I am now a grandma of 12 (yes a tribe in itself lol). Three of my children and their kids have moved to Colorado. around (thank God for Facetime) but am glad for the ones I have still in California! My kids are all doing very well and I am very proud of who they have become. I work full time as a property manger for a large management company. I have been in management for 13 years and enjoy it's day to day challenges. I am also a co-pastor of a church in Riverside. I enjoy the position God has placed me in and understand I am nothing without Him. Our ministry feeds the homeless weekly as well as ministers to the loss and hurting. I love the Lord Jesus with all my heart and am thankful to Him for bringing me from rags to riches in His kingdom of glory. My life is full and I am a blessed woman!
