Yuri's Story
Life
Yuri Solomon is 38 years old and presently serves as senior pastor of New Life Baptist Church (Houston, Texas.) In addition to that, he is founder of WordTalk Ministries, a para-church ministry aimed at communicating essential Christian doctrine in a simple, practical, and pertinent way to believers. He is the author of two books, JUST FOR YOU and BIBLICAL MASCULINITY.

Yuri also serves as Secretary of Education for Union Baptist Fellowship, Dean of Christian Education for the Texas Sovereign Grace Fellowship, and Treasurer of the Equipping the Saints Outreach Coalition, and is most noted for lecturing on Christian Apologetics.
Prior to becoming a full time Pastor, Yuri enjoyed a career in Computer Science as well as being an accomplished musician. Yuri and his wife Katrina live in Houston with their two children, Aleycia and Yuri II.
