Fresh out of high school I went to work as a Buyer's Clerk in Akron. By the next summer I moved with my family when dad transferred to Toledo, Ohio after Roadway Express closed their Archwood Avenue terminal in Akron. I worked in Monroe, Michigan from 1975 to 1976. This was how I ended up meeting my husband the summer of 1976. Life doesn't aways turn out the way you expect and my biggest surprise was finding out having children was not meant to be for Jim and I after many years of trying. You get one do-over. What would I do differently? I never went to college (and until lately never regretted that decision). Now that I think of it, I have never heard anyone say they regretted going to college. I always wanted to be a singer/songwriter when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea.
