Hi guys....the last time I wrote, we were living in New York City. We've moved back home to AR for family reasons, but hope to travel more in the future. My beautiful only child...Mary Julia (Juli) is a senior at NORTH Little Rock. Sorry...but we live here in NLR for now. I wish she had gone to Central now. As I said in a previous note, I'm an RN.....have been since 1976 when I was living in Minnesota. Moved there after two years at Henderson State U in Arkadelphia. Guess I thought I knew everything......got married....worked a couple of years, then entered Abbott-Northwestern School of Nursing. I've been with St Vincent in LR since 1980 except for the 4 years we took to travel with a Nursing Company that placed me in areas where I wanted to go and where I was needed. It was a great experience for all of us. My husband, Andy, is retired Navy, but now is in sales (at River City RV). He just worked in sales wherever we went and Mary Julia changed schools 5 times in 4 years. I thought she needed a "home" school, so we came back to Maumelle in 2005. She'll graduate in 2008. We "downsized" by selling the big house, getting rid of about half of our "stuff" and moving to a smaller house in NLR. One thing traveling taught me is that you can live without 4 sets of china, two closets of clothing, and all of Grandmother's heirlooms. We're poised to become full time travelers in a large RV when the time is right. My Mom needs a lot of attention and lives in a partial care facility. Thank goodness my sister lives here too and is also an RN.....we share the care Mom needs. That's my little sister 8 yrs younger than I that some of you might remember.....Judy. My nursing specialty has always been PACU (recovery room) and I've seen a few of you through the years in some way or another at work. I've also done ICU and CCU. Unfortunately, I haven't been to a reunion since our 10th !! It just never worked out for some reason. On our 20th, I was pregnant with my first and only child and only found out about it a few days beforehand.
