Zona's Story
I grew up on Ave. N--went to George R. Bean and O.L.Slaton before going to LHS (or Tom S. as we called it then). I remember when the "Tom S." went away and it became just Lubbock High.
After traveling around with my husband, an Air force O6, we finally settled in Colorado Springs when he retired nearly thirty years ago.
We love to go to Air Force Academy football games, Rockies baseball and occassionally CU games in Boulder. We love to travel and cruise frequently.

class reunion in 1982. My mother moved to Austin and the Hill country in 1970, so that meant bypassing Lubbock when we went to Texas. My brother, Billy, was of the class of 1964. He died in 1989 after spending several years in the VA hospital in Kerrville.
Our kids (blended family) are grown and scattered. We enjoy the quiet life of Colorado and enjoy watching deer, raccoon, bears and occassionally bobcats as they wander through the yard.
Can't believe it will be 50 years since graduating from LHS! Where did time go?
