Adams's Story
Life
Yup, departed Ottawa before finishing Grade 13. Did that in Toronto at St. Joseph's Morrow Park. Upon finishing secondary school I worked briefly and completed my nursing diploma by the ripe age of 20 years. I worked in several public and private facilities before setting my sights westward for B.C. in 1986.
I migrated out here and never looked back. I attended S.F.U. ('87 - '89) briefly before marrying my spouse and having our boy/girl twins. We then relocated to Victoria, B.C. where we raised our gorgeous children and I worked part-time and eventually completed a B.A. Honors in Women's Studies at the University of Victoria.

I completed my M.A. in Professional Communications-Intercultural and International Communications Specialization, Royal Roads University 2009. I worked for 10 years in Community Development and Engagement and Knowledge Transfer in large-scale Provincial Health Initiative on behalf of the Ministry of Health and Doctors of BC.
I'm now retired and enjoy staying active with swimming (yup, still swimming), cycling, gardening and holiday travel to Hawaii, throughout Canada, and regularly venturing back to Ontario to visit family.
