Addie's Story

I was in the HHC 503rd Aviation Battalion until I moved to D. Co in the spring of 1984. Then the company changed its name several times and each company in the battalion became its own battalion. Those were crazy times then. When I left Germany I was sent to Ft. Polk LA in B. Co. 5th supt. We stayed there 3 years, left the military altogether and moved to the north San Diego county area. I now work for the library, and live with my daughter and granddaughter. I'm trying to find a few of my old friends from my Army daze. Y'all know who you are. If you were ever in Hanau Germany between 1984 and 1990, you should look me up. I'm really interested in finding a young lady who's name is Edna L-C (hyphenated last name). She hailed from someplace in Maine, if memory serves, I just can't remember what city. She had a daughter who's nickname was Rocky (Rochelle) and they lived in Pioneer housing. We were roomates in the barracks, HHC 503rd Avaition, and when I think of her a specific health and welfare inspection comes to mind, and the subsequent trip to the freezer after the inspection was over and ME freaking out! She also lived in an apartment in Erlensee that we, Edna her BF Benny, Jeff, my BF, and myself, threw a big party and the cops came, it was GREAT!!!! The four of us would also stay up late playing Scrabble into the wee hours of the morning. Edna's last know place of duty; Fliegerhorst Kasern. I'm also looking for a young man named SFC Jesse G. He was on Fliegerhorst Kasern in D co, 503rd Aviation. He was a DJ at the Modernaire Enlisted Club and various other clubs in the area. His wife at the time, Willa, HATED me because I was always where h...Expand for more
e was. I was a wanna be DJ myself at that time and I was trying to learn all that I could from him. Last known place of duty; Ft Carson Colorado, I think. The next person I'm looking for is named SSG Henry J. aka PJ and he was also stationed on Fliegerhorst from about 1987 to 1990. He was in 2nd/75th aka 3rd/20th field artillery unit near the front gate. He is originally from VA but I can't remember the exact city. I think it's Portsmouth but could very well be Norfolk or any place in that area of VA. I'm just not sure. He has two children and a grandson called Slab. PJ nicknamed my daughter 19 and PG for pretty girl. He was also stationed at Ft Bragg N.C. and the second to last place before he retired was Korea. The last place he was stationed was Ft Eustis in VA. I do believe he retired from there. I am looking for a young man named SSG James D M. He was in the Marine Corp and his home base was Camp Pendleton and from there back and forth to Okinawa Japan. He was in Tank Batallion, 1st Marine Division. We also sang together in the Inspirational Choir at Cable Baptist Church in Louisville, Ky, and I believe this is his hometown also. Please visit my MySpace page and click on the "pic" link under my photo for the pictures: myspaceDOTcom/cuzinaddie There are picture of all the peoples that I'm looking for in "The Losted Peoples" folder. The names are posted on the photos, so take a peek and if you know any of them give me a holler. So now, if you were stationed in Germany, on the Fliegerhorst kasern or in Hanau between 1984 and 1990, were in the 205th Aviation, 503 ABC or I co 227, 2nd & 75th or 3rd & 20th, HIT ME UP and lets reacquaint.....
