Adele's Story
Hi Everyone,
I now live in Sheffield, England with my husband Phil. I have six children, two step-children, five grandchildren and four step grandchildren. I'm happy to say they're all doing well and I'm only sorry they weren't able to attend schools like A&D, which gave me some of my best memories.
I
I've had an eventful life with several career changes but, I finally settled down to do what I always wanted, which is writing. I began working in journalism and comedy-satire and went on to become a performance poet and lecturer, my work being presented both live and on radio, in both the US and UK. d in 2010 and I'm currently writing a book of women's short stories entitled 'Nine Ladies Dancing'. My non-fiction projects are a history of British bisque doll making in WW1 and 'Searching for Jennie Harbour', the biography of the enigmatic deco era illustrator. Phil and I are also small press publishers and owners of BTS Books (Between These Shores).
I'd love to hear from anyone out there who would like to get together for mini reunions, as I can't always be in New York when they take place. I come to New York about twice a year and love to see as many friends as I can while I'm there. So let me hear from you by leaving me a message here at Classmates.
