Well, it's been almost 50 years since graduation from AHS. At times it seems like only last week and other times it seems like an eternity. My wife sometimes gets annoyed because I forget something she told me a few days before but I can remember my team mates on the cross-country, basketball and track teams and many of my classmates. Can't say I've had one of those lives that others might envy but God has been especially good to me in many ways. I'm Blessed with 5 children and 22 grandchildren. I was in the Army for 21 years, serving during Viet Nam and Desert Storm. Was a combat medic before I was commissioned and during Desert Storm was the Commander of a Medical Battalion. My first wife died of a very rare liver disease in '88 and we had 4 children together.. they were rather young at the time. After leaving Metro State after 25 years, I left Colorado and became a VP of Student Affairs at one of the 23 California State University campuses in California...Expand for more
