Alan's Story
My story? I pretty much threw myself into my work for a while and ended up moving to California to be part of the Silicon Valley run. Had a lot of fun...and a lot of stress! I switched from engineering roles over to marketing along the way to keep things interesting. Then, at age 39, I decided I'd had enough! I "retired" from the world of high-tech and moved back to Oregon. A couple of small businesses later (started a health club and then a coffee roasting company), and here I am today.

ingle all these years, mostly because I let my "career" get the best of me! Now I'm ready to find a special woman to build a life with and possible start a family. I know, I know...at age 48? Yeah, why not!
For those who knew me in high school, you might remember me as the one people came to for advice. I usually hung out with the "geeks" and enjoyed school more than most kids at that age. Today? Well, I still consider myself a great problem solver, most people would never know I was a geek, and I still love to learn!
