Alan's Story
Life
I spent the first 16 years of my life in Dauphin Manitoba. A week before the start of Grade 11 in 1979 we moved to Calgary Alberta, where I finished high school.
After being laid off from my job as a movie theatre manager in April 1984 and unable to find another job in Calgary during the oil "bust", I moved to Winnipeg where I quickly found work at Guertin Bros Coatings and Sealants.

eptember 1988 I moved back to Calgary and have been here since. I'm currently employed by Calgary Transit as a bus driver, but will be leaving the job at the end of December 2007 so my wife and I can move to Neepawa Manitoba where we've bought a turn of the century house. The quality of life in Calgary has degraded so much that we're really looking forward to a more relaxed lifestyle in Manitoba.
