Kenneth's Story
I went into the Navy in 1971. I trained to be an Aircraft Mechanic AM. Was stationed at NAS GTMO CUBA for 18 months to VC-10, a Composite Fighter Squadron. Next went to HSL-32 at NAS NORFOLK VIRGINIA till I was honorably discharged from the Navy in November 1975. Flight Ramp, where I was a Flight Ramp Team Lead on MD-80's & MD-11's. In 1993 transferred to the C-17 Flight Ramp as a Flight Ramp Mechanic on C-17 Aircraft. We are now Boeing Company, and I am still on the C-17 Flight Ramp. I now have over 33 year's working here in Long Beach California, and loved every moment of working here. I will probably Retire next year. I have had a good life, with a few down moments, which just made me stronger.
