alan's Story
Left Pompano after graduation in 1976 for Newberry College in S.C. where i worked my way through school first as a lab assistant then briefly for Shakespeare corp. and finally as a yield specialist at Louis-Rich corp. In 1982 received my bachelors degree in biology and after a brief teaching career(God bless teachers) i retuned to my Florida roots and expanded the family business which i actively ran for 20 years. Along that path i got married in 1985 and was blessed in 1993 with my beautiful daughter Danielle. In 2003 i was offered an opportunity to work for a business acquaintance in an area where we already had a lake house getaway and i accepted the challenge which keeps me as busy as i want yet the freedom to make most of the decisions without the headaches of running my own business. in charge of various construction projects never bored, and live on 5 acres, have a horse, 3 dogs, and the barn of all barns where i spend a lot of time on various projects. I have enjoyed remodeling homes on the side; fishing,frisbee, volleyball, tennis (when time permits), and just being outdoors. I have recently returned on nights and weekends to the laboratory with an organic mineralizer company in developing a fertigation program where through our proprietary process ocean-based nutrients, in collaboration with an median irrigation dilution system, can simply apply a totally environmentally harmless, and cost effective way to feed any lawn-plant-vegetable- fruit. We are preparing to launch nationally soon. Recently was blessed again with my first grandchild and future fishing bud, Collin Ray. Life is good hope yours is too!
