Alanna's Story
Life
My son was born March 10th 2005. I just finished my last three high school credits at Gary Allen High School and I graduated June 22nd 2005 with a scholarship a bursary and an excellence award. I was accepted into a different course at Humber called Package and Graphic Design and have been living in Residence while attending college.
School
My biggest accomplishment in school has been my last three courses. If I hadn't gotten pregnant with my son, Aydan I would never have gone back (that I know of). Two of the...Expand for more
courses I had taken were Business Technologies with the following marks (96% & 98%) and my final course was Grade 12 English which I had gotten 80%. This has been my most successful year of highschool and all because of my son.
College
Been through four weeks of college so far and have had my ups and downs. But I think things have balanced out.
Workplace
The best job I had ever gotten was at the Reniassance Festival. It was very interactive and fun. Unfortunately it has moved to a different and farther location.
