Noel's Story
Life
Well it has been six years since my original bio. Alot has happened since then.
My kids are now 7 (Emma), 9 (Zoe) and 11 (Noel). The girls have been involved with soccer for the last 3 years and Noel plays basketballl, soccer and baseball. Last (2006) year his little league all star team won their District Championship and then was 3rd in the state sectional tournament. This year (2007) his regular season team was the league champions. He made the all stars again and they made it to their pool championship game.
Workwise things have changed quite a bit as well. I have worked at several different companies since my initial bio. I am now working for a company in Warren, RI. We make composite structural components for the likes of Disney and various other large composite components. We have just entered into a contract with GE Wind Energy and are in the process of building a manufacturing facility in China to build wind turbine rotor blades. It is a ...Expand for more
very exciting opportunity. We have a manufacturing facility in Juarez, Mexico that produces wind turbine blades for Mitsubishi Power. That facility is being enlarged as the capacity has tripled for them. We have a facility in Springfield, Ohio that produces the hoods for the military humvees and platforms for rail cars for automobile transport.
Over the course of time I have had numerous surgeries on my knees which has basically ended my participation in sports.
That is pretty much it. Been married for 15 years (my seocnd time around, the first only lasted one year).
Military
After graduating from NYA I took the summer off and went into the Army in September 1975. I stayed in for 10 years and 10 months attaining the rank of SFC/E7. I was medically discharged after tearing my anterior crucite ligament in my right knee. I took basic training at FT Jackson,SC and AIT at Redstome Arsenal,AL. Was stationed at Ft Bliss, TX, Germany and Ft. Stewart, GA.
