Albert's Story
After high school I thought I would take a year off before going studying instrumentation engineering at NAIT. I spent that year working as an institutional aid at Alberta Hospital on an Adolescent Behavior Modification unit. I then took another year off and worked as an operator at Celanese. While there a friend convinced me to take a job fixing Dental equipment. How times change, you can't just get jobs fixing dental equipment these days.
I loved the dental business and ended up fixing dental equipment during the day and studying business at night. I moved up the ladde...Expand for more
r and ended up managing the equipment side of a dental dealer in Alberta.
In 1992 I quit that, packed up and moved to BC where I opened a manufacturer's agency and representing various dental manufacturers, mostly American, to dental dealers that covered Western Canada and all of the Arctic . I still love this business and spend most of my time traveling around my territory.
I am married to a Winnipeg born, BC raised lady and live on an acreage near South Cooking lake.
When I am not on the road I spend my time fixing up our house, playing with an old truck, or Scuba diving.
