Albert's Story
School
After graduation from UCLA, I atteneded UCLA School of Public Health for a Master's degree in Population and Family Health. I then worked for the L.A. Homeless Health Care Project for 1 year, and proceeded to the Chicago Medical School for another Master's degree in Applied Physiology as well as my Medical Doctorate degree. I returned to UCLA School of Medicine through Cedars Sinai Medical Center to complete my Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Residency.

career with Cedars Sinai Medical Center/UCLA SOM and the Health Care Parteners/Huntington Memorial Hospital from 1994-1998. I then joined the clinical faculty of Stanford Medical Group/Division of General Internal Medicine, as well as clinical faculty for the Division of General Pediatrics at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital from 1998-1999. Since 2000, I continued to teach part-time on the teaching faculty of Stanford Medical Center, while working full-time at my private practice in San Jose.
