Alexandra (Lesia)'s Story
Life
I grew up in Mississauga and started my "academic career" in Ukrainian immersion. I lived in Mississauga until I was 7, then I downsized to Brampton for 6 months. Then we moved to Oakville for a few years before finally settling down in Burlington. Since my dad died in 2001, we have since moved into our third house here in Burlington, but my journey doesn't end here. I just got married to my wonderful Christopher in June 2005, and the honeymoon will not be ending any time soon.

I was a really bright child. Very eager to learn, but never ready to sit still. But it all changed in high school. I blame it on moving around too much, in which case I became desensitized to everyone around me. I trusted few people, and never really found my place. I became a huge slacker, and I'm paying dearly for it now. But I finally have my priorities straight, and I have set goals for myself. We all house regret, but it's good to come out with new game plans and move forward.
