About me:
The days were so special when I realized the feelings I had, I was hypnotized. The coming of three little angels of love. I knew too well, they were sent from above. How little they were, when they first arrived. The feelings of happiness, I'm surely surprised. I glanced in their eyes, as they gazed into mine. Three little angels of hope, God give me a sign. Now time is passing day-by-day. My three little angels from God are growing up I'd say. Soon it will come to the point of anew. When they find them a love and bid me adieu. I know I will dread, the day when they're grown. My three little angels will leave me to walk alone. -----------------------------------------------------------
Becoming a mother is a blessed event, with it's burden of responsibility and the best of intent. But becoming a mother of three in one day, is an experience like no other in a multitude of ways. Triplets at bath time basically takes you all day, then comes the diapers, the assembly line way. Onward to potty training, which is crowd control at best, and the first day of school, a rare opportunity to rest. Just imagine sweet sixteen, a round of driver's licenses for all, and a graduation day memory, that will be bittersweet to recall. I'm quick to respond about how good my life's been, and remind them that many of our grandmothers raised ten! Damon Alejandro Antillon time of birth 8:19am Damon, who i called "D" was our first born. I remember that morning seeing him for the first time when the doctor showed him to me and Alex. He was screaming and panting as he tried to take his first breath of life on his own I couldn't wait to hold him. I looked over at his dad he had tears in his eyes (funny him being an ex-Marine and 6'5"). As a toddler Damon's first word was "Ball". Ironic who would have guessed that baseball is his life. I rember him at the age of two running after me with his Bat in hand yelling, "Ball,Ball" meaning he wanted to play baseball. To get a moment to myself i would say his dad's name and in a split second he would run looking for his dad to play baseball with. Since the time Damon could pick up his bat his dad has been his coach. The first time Damon played with out his father as a coach, Alex couldn't stand it. He had to be on the field with Damon. Right now Damon is 16 and has played Varsity Baseball all of his high school career. He also does Cross country and soccer. Alma Ariela Antillon time of birth 8:20am Alma our first and only girl. the morning she was born was like the sweetness of a rose. I say that because when our doctor showed her to Alex and I he said "Look what we have here, a rose between two thorns." I remember as a toddler Alma played a motherly role to the boys. She would stand on top of her playschool slide clapping and stomping her feet at the boys to get their attention to make them behave. She would never pronounce their names right. Alma is becoming a beautiful young lady her Dad and I are so proud of her. For the triplet's Quince Alma wore a dress for the very first time. i remember helping her getting dressed for her big day, with tears in my eyes thinking of what her father and brothers would say to see her for the first time in her dress while they dad and her brothers waited for her at the bottom of the stairs they looked up at her,the look on their faces was PRICELESS........ Alma runs cross country, track, and is Captain of her high school color gaurd. Gabriel Francisco Antillon time of birth 8:21am Gabriel (Francisco) named after my dad who i miss very much. We also call him "Flaco". When Gabriel was delivered that morning I remember the doctor showing him to alex and i just breifly and not as long as Alma or Damon. I felt then that something may be wrong with gabriel being so small. i remember his skin color was a weird blue/purple color and he did not cry at all. Panic sinks into Alex and I. Come to find out Gabriel was given emergency oxygen to help him breath. All of the nurses in our nursing unit fell in love with the triplets. But i have to say that their first love was Gabe C:~ I remember our morning nurse nicknamed Gabriel "Peanut". By the time we left the hospital every nurse and doctor knew Gabriel by Peanut. To this day his Tia Chanchi calls him Peanut. I remember one night during the hostpial stay i could not sleep i was resltess i had to go to the nursery were the kids were. When i walked in i heard Gabriel crying and the nurse was glad to see me. As i sat in the rocking chair the nurse put Gabriel in my arms and he stopped crying. You have to know Gabriel was not feeding, i was told he was failure to thrive. That night he cuddled with me and for the first time he breast feed. I remember the nurse sat there crying with me glad he was finally feeding. dispite Gabriel's rough start in this world today he is a beautiful young man. He is out doing as much as he can do and sometimes he streches himself out to thin. He is involved with Link crew, F.C.C.L.A., Cross Country, track, soccer, and now he is a captain of the first boy's volleyball team at his high school. And Let's not forget Gabriel is a straight "A" student since the beginging of his high school career. Alex and the kids are my life....
