Alice's Story
12/3/2009: Hey, This site keeps crashing, so please check me out in "face book" site and the Foothill Alumni websites.
Still married, September 2009, 30 years. Both sons had graduated from Foothill too, 1999 and 2006. My oldest lives in Maryland, and the youngest finally moved out, so we are "empty nestors". In 2001, I lost my brother to aplastic anemia, that he acquired while in the Navy station on the USS Enterprise. I was a trekky fan, but I'm not now. The lost of my brother hit my family hard, especially, my mother. Almost lost my mother in 2007, but she is doing really well now.
As the days go by, the dog Bear and cat Princess keeps us company while the kids are building their own lives.

1/19/2020: In 2019, we celebrated our 40th anniversary. My eldest had moved back from Maryland, and my youngest currently lives in Utah. My father die...Expand for more
d several years ago and my mother died in 2019, a week before Mother’s Day. This time, we were ready to let mom go. My hubby had lost both his parents several years ago. My youngest had gone through chemotherapy for cancer several years ago and is doing very well. I’ve had two different types of cancer scares, and, with early detections and surgery, I recovered very well. Both previous pets, Bear and Princess, had passed away; however, we have a new dog, Fiona, that a neighbor found and couldn’t find its owner. In 2018, I retired from federal civil service career of 38 years and 7 months. Due to health reasons, I don’t do much anymore. I went from being a multitasker to barely able to get around. People ask me what are my plans now that I’m retired and I replied, “Get healthy!”
Looking towards our 45th class reunion. Still waiting for replies from classmates.
