Alice's Story

Life After Burnaby, Ottawa, Washington,DC, living in California since 1993. Married to Gary Coombs in 1996. He has 4 kids 32 to 40 years old (2014) and we have 6 granddaughters 9 to 17 years old and one grandson 6 years old. They live in Utah. We live in Redondo Beach, California with 2 sweet cats in a little house near the beach, just our size. The yard has avocados, citrus trees, boysenberries, strawberries, and lots of flowers all year round. Ride bikes on beach bike path several times a week. Still singing in church choirs. al math teacher) died at 97 in 2013 after moving from Burnaby to Nanaimo in 2010 where 3 siblings live on Vancouver Island - get up there a couple of times each year. College Went to BCIT in Business Administration / Financial Management with an accounting option. Then completed my formal education - Certified General Accountant (CGA). Travel Love to travel and have seen some of the world - Europe and Russia and Singapore and South America. Lots more to see. Workplace Retired 2014 after working at Raytheon starting 2000 as Senior Financial Analyst. After working self-employed and in small companies I really appreciated all that a big company had to offer. Life is good.
