Alice's Story
um, what to say? after high school i went to college (kwantlen, before it was a polytechnique!) decided it wasnt for me (too many classes, full course load!!! forever my downfall...) decided to take a chef course, wanted to become world renowned...but didnt like it. went into retail, sad story of life...went from cashier, to department head, to team lead, to assistant manager...and also decided i didnt like it. left a good paying job and went back to my roots: customer service. someone out there ...Expand for more
decided my resume was kick ass and hired me as a merchandiser...the pay was good, but after xmas it was brutal. found an employment office, decided to take a 90 day course...and was hired with the city of vancouver!!!! still here, after 6 years. i love it, i am an office assistant. worked with the city manager, wrote the cheques in treasury, law, and am currently with transportation.
still sort of a loner...i cant hack relationships, im kinda stubborn. i have 3 cats. but i like my solitary life.
