Alisha's Story
Life
I moved from Memphis in '81 to Va. Beach, VA. Lived there a little more than a year and moved back to Memphis. Got married in 1983 to Lewis and we are still married. We have 2 daughters. They are 22 and 17. I work as a legal assistant to a Memphis attorney.

School
I went to Woodstock Elem. for 7th and 8th grade. Went to Millington High School for 9th and part of 10th. I moved to Va. Beach, VA in 10th grade. Came back to Memphis after graduation.
Workplace

e back to Memphis, I worked at Shoney's for 2 years waiting tables. Then I got a job for a check printing company, worked there for about 4 or 5 years. I left there at went to work as a receptionist at a law firm downtown. I worked my way through different job positions at that firm and today, still work with one of the attorneys from that firm but he opened his own office. I am now a real estate legal assistant. Our office handles mostly real estate transactions, Closings, SBA Loans, Commercial Loans, etc. (I have seen a couple of you over the years when you have bought/sold or refinanced your homes.)
