Life Since high school - I went to the University of Minnesota and got my BA in 1999. From there, I went to the University of Nebraska for my first year of grad school. Then I came back to the U of M and graduated in 2002 with a Master of Architecture degree. I got married on October 12, 2002 to Brent, who works for Target Financial. I have my own design firm, which incorporated in 2004. We live in a beautiful 1910 house just 1 mile out of downtown Minneapolis with our 3 cats: Baggio, Pretty Boy Floyd, & Lizzie Borden. Here's the scoop with me as of 09/2007: It has been a busy year for us! This spring our house was on the Minneapolis / St. Paul Home Tour. Over 400 people came through our house in one weekend. The tour featured our house on a promotional TV show, and interestingly enough, the family who lived in our house back during WWII saw it and contacted us. A number of them came to see the house, some from as far away as New Mexico, and they brought photographs from the 40's - 70's, which were fascinating! It was so wonderful to connect to them and hear their stories about the house and it's history! We just got back from Japan a few weeks ago. I would recommend going - it is such a cool place!
