Allan's Story
Life
I am in the middle of life and all of the changes that happen when you turn 67. Put your "Stuff" in order and get ready to just keep on doing as you are doing. OR.......set yourself up for new goals, chalenges, and direction.
I have left Ruffin, NC, where I've lived for 25 years and moved to Wilmington, NC. Have a studio in Acme Art Studios downtown and share energy with 22other artist with studios there. I am back painting after five years of not doing what I wanted to do.
Have been traveling and looking for new subject matter, and finding that there is still a lot of America standing. For those that do not know, I paint pictures of "The Vanishing American Scene", or stuff no one cares about anymore.

aughter, Savannah Koehler (in Germany as of now), to go along with the 11 year old, Shiann, who is in GSO. And since I have re-married, I now have two new daughters, Lisa and Linda and a new grand daughter, Emma.
My wife is Yvonne (Norris) from the class of 1960, GHS. Life is good and the music still rules.
If you get up to the Port City, stop by and we will pop a top of something and CHILL, and catch up on what you are doing.
There is always a spear room and we are only three miles from Wrightsville Beach and the good life. Now that 2009 is here and the $$$$$ have dried up a little, we all need each other. So, come on down and enjoy life with us.
