Life
I was born in Sptg. ,SC,lived on Hydrick st. near Hampton, and attended Southside Elem for the first and second grade,moved to St John St and N.Dean , where Barnet park is today. and attended Oakland Ave Elem, Jenkins Jr Hi and Spartanburg High. Graduated SHS in 56,and graduated from Wofford College in 61 andwas a high school teacher and an elem school principal in Dist 3. Spartanburg School system. ught SHS in 66,67, ,I left teaching in 1970 and became the owner/ broker-in-chg of Southgate Real Estate. I am presently semi-retired and basically manage my own residential and commercial rentals.Diane is retired from Dorman Hi , where she was Chairperson of the Foreign Language Dept.with a Doctorate in special ed and certified as a secondary Principal and School Superintendent. We have one son Kevin who is employed with Milliken Research.
