School My favorite classes were the shop classes. To this day I feel that much of the information I obtained while in shop classes ie. Woodshop, Metal, Drafting, Plastics, and Auto shop was the most usefull information I learned, and still use that information daily. I learned more about fractions reading a tape measure and drafting ruler then siting in math class. ROTC paid off since I did enter the military after High School it helped provide early promotions. Geography aided in my world travels while in the military. I did learn information in other classes, but it has been awhile since someone asked me any questions about the books we read, Native Son, Great Gatsby, etc. As for favorite teachers I would have to say Mr Hilmer then Mrs Brown, Victor, Odeguard, Carpenter, R Miller, N Peterson, Foudray, lets not forget Dr. Kelly, and Mrs Haney in the office, these are names I remember (spelling may be incorrect) their are others but I can't place a name with their face, having lost my yearbook during on...Expand for more
