Allen's Story
Life
I am interracially married to a wonderful African-American woman. We have two biracial sons, born in 1995 and 1998. In 1997, I started a non-profit organization called the International Size Acceptance Association and I run a blog called Interrace Haven.
Perhaps the most dramatic change in my life came in 1996 when I gave my life to Jesus Christ, who changed me from within. I still play music but I am a bass player and background singer in a Christian band called First Light.
I'm such an internet geek now. I podcast, I have a MySpace page (2 actually! I made one for the band, too), I blog and design webpages for ISAA and other personal interests. Plus, my job keeps me on the net all day! But I do have a life, people, I really do.

Teacher that inspired me most? Jack Harkrider for journalism.
If I could do it all over again? Ay, ay, ay....! I'm just not the same person anymore, so...no.
Craziest? Earned the nickname "Satan" for doing death metal music album reviews of Slayer, Metallica, Iron Maiden and Venom (for the first time in the award-winning Anderson Edition).

Workplace
After college, I went to work for the State of Texas. Five years later, I went to work for Dell computers doing desktop pc and laptop technical support. After that, went into network administration for an engineering firm. Now, I'm doing computer tech support for a major company.
