Allie's Story
Hi - I never would have imaged that I would be an attorney. After MSU and Univ of Detroit Law School, I went on to become a prosecutor for about 8 years. It was odd prosecuting the MSU rioters in 1999(but they destroyed my city and I made them pay in a big way). I moved to Washington DC/Alexandria, VA in 2003 to work for the National District Attorneys Association. onal law issues, and the link between animal cruelty and human violence. In 2007 I was appointed as the Director of Public Policy for the American Humane Association and I run the Washington DC office where we lobby on child and animal welfare legislation at the federal and state level. I still train and consult on prosecution cases since I have expertise in child and animal protection.
I get home to see the parents about twice a year. I envy the wonderful cost of living in Owosso. Life is exciting and great!
