Allison's Story
Life
I am currently married and living in southern California (San Bernardino area). My husband, James, is a psychology professor at Cal State San Bernardino - he studies creativity. I'm a neuroscience grad student at UC Riverside. I work in a linguistics lab applying human language models to animals, in particular marine mammals. I miss the east coast terribly! Scout and recently have gotten very active with one of our world centers, located in Pune, India. After EBHS I went to Rutgers- Cook and got degrees in biology and natural resource management. I've worked at the NY Aquarium, a pet store, the NJ State Aquarium, with the animal exhibits at the San Bernardino County Museum, and teaching Hebrew school. At the NJ State Aquarium I interned, volunteered, and was on staff for awhile as a seal and penguin trainer.
