Amanda's Story
Life
Graduated from the USL in May 1996 with a BS in Psychology. Graduated from FSU online with a Masters in Library Studies.
Currently working at Lafayette Public Library and caring for my dogs, Jack & Sophie. Married (Oct 4, 2008). Husband works for local university as an English/Linguistics Instructor.
I always wanted to be an adult when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a pretty good idea. As it turns out, they were way wrong.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have booze, booze, and more booze to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is my grandmother, because she rocked!

leaners and cooks. My dream home would be free.
If I won $100 million, I'd give most of it to taxes (because I have to), then spend the rest on booze, loose men and confetti.
My current age is 87. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be dead. I was so completely right.
My best friend would tell you I'm silly, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as short.
I share my home with my husband, and two dogs, which I find crowded.
In 10 years, I hope to be alive. I'm going to get there by eating, breathing & drinking water.
My first job was at USL, where I got paid almost nada to tutor English to athletes. What I remember most about it is football players are dumb; track & field people are smart.
