Amanda's Story
Life
After growing up on Strawberry Lake until my teenage years, our family moved to Gregory, MI. In '88 I left Pinckney High School and attended Stockbridge High. I graduated in '92 and went on to attend Lansing Community College. I married my high school boyfriend, Kim Barker in '95 - we had a daughter, Kaylee, in '97 and divorced in '02. I finally finished my degree in Business in '01 - after working at it for 9 years. I have been steadily employed in Administration and have worked for the University of Michigan for nearly 5 years.
My husband and I moved our family "back" to Stockbridge in 2004. My family and I are active in our congregation, Gregory Community Church, and love the area we are in. We are close to parents (grandparents for the children) and friends.
