Amanda's Story
Life

I met my husband in 2001 and we got married in 2002. We have been married for 7 1/2 years, and have a 4 year old daughter named Leila and an 21 month old baby boy named Christian. Both of my kiddos are a handful. My little girl just started kindergarten and my baby boy was born deaf, so we keep really busy with him also, but they are both angels.
Workplace
My first job was right after high school as a tower attendant at the Tower of the Americas...Expand for more
. I operated the elevator taking tourists up and down, doing security for the tower and cashiering. I was there a little over a year. My second, and current job is working for the San Antonio Police Department. I have worked for three different units within the department. I think working for this department is the most interesting place anyone can work for. You meet and see so many interesting people and things. I think that is why I have not left SAPD yet.
