Life
Anything interesting, huh? I have the most UNPERFECT marriage, two of the most UNPERFECT sons, the most UNPERFECT job, and the most UNPERFECT life. But I truely do love it.
I've learned in my marriage that there is no 50/50, maybe 150/150. And that if one or the other doesn't do their part, it's ok, one day you'll need a break as well. Just because he gets to leave the house daily and he works hard so I can stay home, doesn't mean that I don't work hard to make sure he can come home to a wonderful home.

I've learned in my job as wife, mom, homemaker that perfection is imaginary. It's the gold at the end of the rainbow, it's the invisible friend from when I was 4, it's an urban legend, and one of the easiest things to let go of. Dinner gets burned, spills happen, automotive grease gets on my white carpet, children choose their own sleeptime (Even though you choose their bedtime), "no thank you" bites are torture, baths are like swimming pools, diaper changing should be an Olympic Event, smiles warms your heart, hugs smell like honey and are sometimes sticky like.
I've learned that good enough is really good enough.
