Amber's Story

Life Wow. A lot has happened since high school. I have an 15 year old son, who is the coolest child I could wish for and the inspiration in my life. I just got married in June of 2005 to a wonderful man, Chancellor. We had our first child together in July of 2009, Rosaleigh Magraget. I just moved back to Michigan, from NY where I was a math teacher in Brooklyn for 5 years. After having Rosa, we decided it was best for our family if I stayed home full time to take care of the children and the house. In my spare time I develop my website at 123child.com and I scrapbook (check out scrapbook.com my profile name is chicky). Chancellor is currently working for Assention Health Ministries for the IT help desk. My husband is also a professional musician. He is currently employed as an organist for a local church. brings back memories to look through all the memorabilia I have saved through the years. The book I wrote in my sophomore year, “How He Got His Nicknames” (just ask Carolyn…*giggle) my poetry, the pictures. The most inspiring teacher, hands down, was Mr. Covert. Biology class challenged me, he was a great teacher that was easy to follow. Hated Mr. Miller who never gave a straight answer and was always off on some tangent that had nothing to do about Chemistry… what do those slides of your vacation have to do with Chemistry again? Kudos’s to my Calculus teacher who never tired of hearing me ask “WHY” (I still don’t know why!!!) Carolyn and I palled around our freshman year; puppy doggin’ after a certain senior. After he graduated it seemed we lost our common bond. Kelly and I became best friends my sophomore year. We remained best friends until my son was born in 1995. Dave P. joined our circle of friends my senior year.
