amelia's Story

I attended Sunset High for the entire 4 years. Went to Chabot Jr. College and California State University East Bay Hayward right after graduation. I graduated from CSUEB December 2014 with BS in Operations Management/Marketing options. When I decided to get married in 1972 I dropped out of college. So graduating was a dream come true. I have four children and 11 grand...Expand for more
children and 2 great grand children. I have a son and three daughters. Unfortunately, my marriage ended in divorce. The majority of my life I worked and ended up at NUMMI auto plant in Fremont, CA. The company shut down and I was laid-off in April 2010. I decided to go back to CSU East Bay to get my Bachelor's. I enjoy working so I am ready to join the work force again.
