Amy's Story
Life
We are expecting a baby! It's our first. We're late bloomer, but we're excited. We are back in Omaha where we are both teachers!
I just moved to Newington, CT with my fiance, Nick. We have a cute little apartment here. I'm attending the University of Hartford full-time in the fall, so that's why we're here. Nick and I are getting married in June, and then I finish my master's degree (it's a summer and year program).
School
High school was tons of fun, but I don't think I'd want to do it again. I guess if I did, I wouldn't get into a fight with one of my friends. It totally wrecked our friendship, and it was really dumb. I also would have joined the drama club ...Expand for more
earlier, and perhaps the cross country team. I would have bought a new pair of sneakers my senior year of x-c because I think it would have helped my sprained ankle.
College
My favorite part about St. Olaf was meeting all the awesome people that I still try to keep in touch with today. If I could have changed things, I would have taken that French class pass/fail, and I would have dropped the major much earlier! I loved my time at St. Olaf! I would do it all over again! (and perhaps study more)
Workplace
I enjoy the work that I do. It's frustrating, and I have a hard time leaving the emotions at work, but it is rewarding. I am very satisfied with where I am right now.
