Amy's Story
Nothing exiting or unusual here. I got married a couple of times, got divorced a couple of times. Moved to IL, then to MO, then to CA and now I am back in MO.
I have 2 kids. My son Ryan just turned 18. He is funny and charming and adorable when he is not being psychotic and insane. He's good looking a off beat way, short for a guy and crazy funny. That boy can make me laugh till I cry without even trying.
My daughter Silver is 11 and she is my reason for being. She has been challenged with some pretty severe health issues over the last 2.5 years and yet she is always so incredibly sweet and thoughtful and funny and kind. Those of you that knew me in grade school or middle school would swear she is the spitting image of me, though I think she is so much more beautiful than I could ever be.
I have some "adopted" kids, teenagers I have acquired through relationships and such. Amber is 19 and a sophomore in college. Jessica is 17 and due to deliver a baby boy in late January. They technically belong to Lisa Rigby...Expand for more
, my best friend of 20+ years but I did my fair share of raising them, especially the teen years!
Shelby and Lana and Jordyn, teenagers that have made me their 2nd or 3rd mom, whom I love as much as my own kids. Teenagers like me because I am point blank honest with them and funny too.
I don't work right now as caring for Silver takes up most of my time. I am a massage therapist and work out of the house extremely part time. I have always done office work for the steady paycheck and benefits.
I am an egg artist. It is my passion and I have literally 4 or 5 dozen either completed or in stages of completion. I'll post some pictures eventually. I started about 10 years ago copying something my mom had done in the 70's and made it my own. It involves fabric, paint, miniatures, glue, scissors, glitter, beads, ribbon - it satisfies me on almost every artistic level.
Mom passed away in 1998. Dad has been living with me the past 5 years. My sister lives up in the gold country of CA and my brother is living in San Jose.
