Amy's Story

Life Relationships I met the love of my life three years ago and got engaged 10 months later! We plan to get married on the beach in Hawaii next year when we go to visit his daughter and her family (son-in-law is stationed there with the Army). Before that, I was married for four years (92-96), and do not have any children. My Social Life I like to go dancing at a variety of clubs (from country line-dancing to hip hop), sing Karaoke, shoot pool, go bowling (am on a league), and LOVE to drive! I also enjoy anything outdoors -- camping, canoeing, fishing, bicycling, barbecuing, etc. Where I live I've stayed mainly in Missouri (with a short stint in Iola, Kansas) and keep returning to the Kirksville area (where I went to college). ust 45 minutes from there, living with my fiance' Chris. I'm only a couple hours from both Lee's Summit and Kirksville, so travel often to visit friends and family. My Pets We have four cats -- my two black females, Chris' HUGE male Siamese, and our newest edition, Oreo, a black and white stray kitten that is wreaking havoc on the rest of our full household!! My boyfriend also has three dogs, so now we have a large family! (Thank goodness he got rid of the birds!!) Luckily, he lives on a farm, so we have plenty of room for them all! Hope to add some horses someday! Workplace My fiance' and I bought an RV and have been going on the road, doing open-air flea markets, but now it's getting cold, so time to get a "real job"!! Just started last week at Pierce Home, a group home for 12 ladies with developmental disabilities. Nice to get back into the field! I've missed it!
