Amy's Story
Life sure has done a 180 for me. After High School I joined the Marine Corps. I served 4+ years on active duty and 2 years in the active reserves and 1+ in the inactive reserves- total eight years. OOO-rah! I met my hubby, John, in North Carolina, and three years later we married in 1996. He is a Marine and getting ready to retire in 1+ years. We have four children- Johnathon 15yrs, Natalie 12 years, Michael 10 yrs, and Connor is 5 yrs old. Our family has traveled quite a bit- Green Bay, Whidbey Island, Northern Michigan, Chicago, Fort Worth and now we are stuck in good ol' New Orleans. I have finished my AA, BA in His...Expand for more
tory, and now I am a week away from finishing my Masters in Theology. It¿s been a long road in going to school and raising a family. I plan on moving toward my PhD eventually. But for now, I am going to concentrate on my kids and all the wonderful school activities that come with having kids in high school, middle school, grade school and a kindergartener. That¿s it. Not too much to write home about, but I am insanely happy with my life- not a day goes by I do not thank the good Lord for allowing me to find a definitive place in this world with a husband I am madly in love with and children that are happy and healthy.
