Amy's Story
Greetings from Colorado! After I graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in '94, I worked full-time for 3 years at Camp Redcloud, a Christian challenge center, in Lake City, CO. While at the camp, I met my future husband, Todd. I followed him to Colorado Springs in '97. We were married in '00. I worked at Focus on the Family for 4 years ('97-'01). We moved to Longmont in '03. I worked part-time as a customer service telecommuter for Alpine Access and sold goods on eBay from '03-'06. Currently & on a very limited basis, I help an elderly friend clean her home. It's very rewarding and mutually beneficial.
Todd manages our home-based, Unfranchise, Market America business, and works for Anew Green, a recycler of waste toner from copiers. Todd is a "Jack of All Trades, Master of Them ALL." He is an incredible husband and amazing father. His hobbies include vegetable gardening, grilling, and cooking - AWESOME combination!
We have three wonderful girls ages 8, 5, & 3. I school them at home through an online charter public school. It's been challenging at times but well worth the effort. This fall ('09), I'll be coaching our 5 yo's soccer team and volunteering at the girlies' AWANA classes.

Bible Study Fellowship class together. It's been a real privilege to become friends with some amazing people.
My parents moved to north Denver in the spring of '07 to be near us. As my father says, "Life is good." They are very pleased with their decision to move. I think it's a big deal to pack up & move across the country, especially after living in Indy their entire lives. It took a lot of courage and I am very proud of them. Since their move, we've been able to visit with family that we would have never seen if they hadn't moved. A huge bonus for us!
I absolutely love Colorado's active lifestyle. Since living here, my absolute favorite activities have been mountain climbing, hiking, snowshoeing, rock climbing, cycling, mountain biking, and running a half-marathon. My current fascination is with frisbee golf. Fun, fun game, basically free, and the kids sleep well after running the course.
My short-term goals are to lead a small group through our church on the book Captivating and begin the process of certification in the healing ministry of our church.
My mid-term goals are to become a certified Bradley birth instructor and a Christian yoga instructor.
Thanks for visiting my profile. I hope to make it back to Indy for a reunion one of these years. I hope all is well on your end. God's Blessing, Amy Lou
