Amy's Story
Ok you all I'll try to make this short, we know how much I can talk HA HA. I got married right after HS and moved to South Carolina, No kids... got divorced in 1995. Since then I went to college but didn't finish, worked and worked and worked. In 2006 I had a bleed in my brainstem that required major brain surgery to repair, the effects are stroke like, my left side is weaker and since they sliced behind my right ear.. the right side of my face is partially paralized but can get better and i'm completely deaf in ...Expand for more
my right ear... since then I have been on disability and unable to work, I'm hoping the doctors will release me to go back to work by summer 2009. Keep your fingers crossed. Another shocker (to most of you anyway) is I now have a girlfriend... I guess I kinda knew for awhile, just wouldn't admit it. She has been with me through this tough time in my life and continues to be a huge support to me. I live in Rockford, IL we just bought a house. It would be nice to hear from everyone.
