Amy's Story
I was the girl that no one noticed or spoke to. I'm not bitter or burning with fury about it. High school works out for some, for most... for me, it did not. No bigs. I dropped out at 15, spent many genuinely fun years simply vacillating -- working menial jobs, hanging out with menial boys (insert snarky bray of laughter here).
When I was 21, my mom gave me "the talk" -- It was time to go to Job Corps or join the Army. Now, c'mon, man... she'd seen my thighs. Ain't no way Butter-Butt McGee was gonna get through boot camp. So off to Job Corps I went. It was the best decision I made. I earned my GED (with high honors, yo) and got some handy work skills. I learned to type and I'm typing RIGHT NOW! LOOK HOW WELL I DID!

nd now working on my Masters Degree. I work as a manager for a great company and have completely come out of my shell and into my own. So, like, yay.
In my private life, I'm married to The Best Husband in the World and together we have four well-behaved, smart and funny kids. We also have a grumpy orange cat named Gary. I like "the movies smart people like," road trips, horror movies, reading (who has time to read, please! I just said that so you'd think I'm smart), celebrity gossip, playing "Jeopardy" (I have a solid 82% accuracy rate!) and hanging out with mi familia. I also like peppering my dialogue with Spanish phrases like a damned d-bag apparently.
Update: This website has no problem with the word "damned," but insists I edit myself to "d-bag." Whatever, Grandma.
