Anastasia's Story
Brother George is the politician and media figure, though had ideas in that direction followed a different path. very fulfilling 10 years in Jerusalem, growing spiritually and active in my obedience running a girls school in the West Bank, sponsored by our Convent. Then spent part of 2 years in a wholly different setting in the outback of Australia, in a small convent located near the Snowy River. Quite a contrast from Jerusalem which in many ways is the center of the world. No cellphone/internet, very few people around us in Australia, it was a great time for spiritual growth. Had to leave though in the end of 2007 due to some church politics. Have now settled in a small convent just north of Syracuse, NY. Fond memories of my time at Purchase School. Great teachers, good group of kids, a wonderful place to grow up. Regards to all. Stacy, Class of '73 (now mother Agapia)
