My Job
Well.... my job is about to change.
I volunteered as a bell ringer outside of Sam's Club this holiday season to help out the Foothills Kiwanis, of which my dad is a member.
Then after I decided to stay here and not move back to California where I had spent the past 4 years, I decided to temp and worked at Crocs, and Crestone Capital.
I was recently hired on at Mercury Interactive in their Customer Sales Support department. Mercury is one of the leading CRM software companies in the country based in Mountian View, CA. They recently moved this department from CA to Boulder for cost, people, and other reasons. Mercury hopes to expand this department from its current 50 people to over 400 by years end. Prime opportunity for me to use my MBA in Entrepreneurship! yay.
My Family: Let me see. My parents got divorced after I graduated from Fairview, and my mom passed away in 2001, just before 9/11. My dad is retired, remarried and lives in North Boulder. One of my younger sisters lives in Louisville ...Expand for more
at works at the University. My other younger sister is married and lives in Ann Arbor, MI. she also is the mom of my adorable nephew of 7 months Odin. The cutest baby ever! She is an award-winning music composer who just had her Carnegie Hall debut.
My Life: I am actively involved in many alumni groups (Colorado College, Gamma Phi Beta, Leeds School of Business, etc), volunteer activities (Clothing of the American Mind, Foothills Kiwanis, etc.), as well as spending much time with family and friends.
Now I am getting back into the swing of things here in Boulder, and am amazed and saddened at how this placed has changed since highschool. Fairview has a day care center?? What?? Good grief. I went to the boulder/fairview basketball game and couldn't stop laughing. Great game - and so not as important as when I was there.
also taking advantage of living in a college town without 6 million people in it, like Los Angeles. Love the hiking, the people, the atmosphere. Love this town and I'm so happy to be back!
