Andree's Story
Hey -- thanks for stopping by. I try to stay away from social media, so if you can't look me up online (try LinkedIn), you likely won't see me. I don't pay for this site, so I can't see much here. I'm well, honest. Just taking care of me and mine. Life's too short to do otherwise. I write occasionally, so feel free to stop by my blog, agnubloom.com if you like.
School
I am ever grateful to Mr. Sowa for making me really study my head when it came to English; I have gone far because of him. I've been able to catch up with our former superintendent, Dr. Johnson; he was a consultant in my former school district and as a member of the school board I was blessed to be able to talk with him again.
College
Was glad to move off-campus while at Rutgers. Was really glad to graduate. Temple was a blur because I commuted from South River (right outside New Brunswick) to Philly. Fielding University is the best school experience I could ever hope for; I am glad I made the ...Expand for more
decision to go and completed both a doctorate and post-doc.
Workplace
Health Information employee while attending Rutgers; miscellaneous odd jobs while attending Temple; Mental Health Specialist for UMDNJ--worked at a school-based program at South Brunswick High; odd counseling jobs when I moved to Delaware; counselor for a GED/ABE program when I moved to Chester; and Director of Community Outreach through my last three moves (back to NJ, then two moves since). Center Director and more while at Azusa Pacific University. Been with Yorkville University (Canada) since 2014, as well as full-time with Grand Canyon University's College of Doctoral Studies since 2014. Recently became full-time Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Executive Leadership Program at University of Charleston (WV). Thinking about moving out of California, which won't affect work because I've been online full-time since 2014.

God bless those who have served, but I'm not one of them...
