Andrew's Story
College
After getting my BA at SHS, I took a leave of absence. The Classics Department at Wayne State offered me a fellowship; I attended WSU from fall, 1973 through December, of 1976, earning a M.A. in Classical Literature. While at Wayne I taught Latin and Mythology.
After earning my M.A. I toyed with a degree in Comparative Literature, taking a few seminars toward that end. However I was tiring of living on $3,000/year, so I sought employment, taking a
position of Grants Admistrator at the Univeristy of Detroit. (see work profile)
While at UofD I earned an MBA, with a particular academic interest in Economics. I earned the MBA in 1981. I am also somewhat studied in non profit accounting, and have taught it at UofM in the MPA program.

I have since thought about pursuing a Ph.D., a goal about which I am serious but have not acheived.
